Devious Journal Entry

The UFO modem that I bought last month has died. So its back to the ol' trusty ADSL1 modem while Melbourne's favourite cheap computer megastore MSY gets it fixed.

When I was a young little boy, I always dreamed of having super powers. If you've never dreamt about having super powers, Im sure someone probably asked you, "If you had a choice...". And today, I've just updated my one and only choice of superhero powers, which previously was the ability to SuperJump. Imagine the ability to jump really high will change the NBA totally. Travelling will be cheaper, one can be in Malaysia to China in a single step! Ooooh its hard to let go of this super power but I now choose the ability to manipulate minds now! Muahahahaha (evil laugh included)

People, human beings, etc are difficult. Why can everyone just understand me! Yes, a boring world it will become. Maybe I should modify my SuperManipulate mind control power to be short-acting like Novorapid insulin and probably add a memory loss effect type power after they come out of the mind-control so they wont kill me for controlling them.

Or perhaps I should learn to control my temper and stop yelling at staff at work. And everyone gets upset with me. Or maybe, I should choose to have the SuperCalm super power instead? the ability to calm down in any given situation or circumstance!... sounds like an ad for Xanax. lol

why is it a struggle to keep in contact with friends? even the good ones!?! well i regret it especially when i come back from work and plop on the laptop and there's no one to say hi to.

i am now about to pack my bags and leave on a plane tomorrow to kuala lumpur for 5 weeks of rest, relaxation and eating. if anyone is in kuala lumpur and like to meet up give me a buzz on my buzzer *zap* *zap*

flashback 2003-2007

fascinating that i get a fav or two whilst im inactive. its been one year since i blogged something on deviantart. doesnt mean ive been away from the net.... name me one person who managed to walk away from the internet and i will give u a kiss. just been away from my creative side. i last saw it a month ago... gave it a poke... but it breathe its last breath. most of it attributed to laziness and priorities to work and friends.

been funny looking at my short 'artistic' journey from drawing 'manga' to 'emoticons' to ' pixelart' with the 'storywriting'. i had a blast doing them. the most enjoyable part was meeting legends like =unangelic, ~piki, *The-Egg, ~Jianetsu, *yuzukko, ~Shellzoo5; ~xdevakix; ~Izabella, ~Jansi, *ShinRyuShou; *lenawargo, ^oibyrd; ~austenphoto, ~youffy, ~tropicity, *Gurly, =Keizie.... just to name but a few.

even created the now defunct ~limucat cat club hahaha. it was fun. but my cat has now passed away. :cries:

i will end here with a new deviation. yes! you can kill all my creativity but it will keep on truckin' :ambulance:. i am now making plushies! a big thank you to :iconchungamunga: for her advice and tips! You are a legend! :smooch:

too all friends i miss you guys! sorry for not keeping in touch. :)

anyone interested may want to know i moved my blog to this website now

myer is my store

Sat Jul 15, 2006, 7:34 PM
i was serving this customer. "good day", i said with my perfected customer smile. "hey", he said grogily. then i realised he was drunk. its not the first that drunkards come stumbling to the store. gave a silent sigh. "well me go problem with me eyes seeeee", said the drunk dude as he pulled down his eyelids and brought his face close to mine to show me the redness. i quickly diagnosed it and recommended him some medicine for it. "well if you ask me whiskey is the best medicine of all!" he said to the customer next to him. "shhhh dont tell anyone"

i asked if there was anything else so as to get him out quickly without bothering the other customers. "well i got this cough you see!", he said as he swivelled about. i asked what kind and he said "wait". he proceeded to make a deep nasty hocking sound and cough right to my face. "THAT KIND!" he said!
i couldnt contain my laughter any longer but i quickly recommended him some medicine. the girls later asked me why i was pissed that someone coughed right on my face. i still dont know why. guess it was more of a funny situation rather than one that pisses one off.

event of the day has to be the monitor blowing up. ok it wasnt that dramatic. i just switched on the computer then i started smelling something funny and i asked cherie if she smelt anything funny and she said no then it got more smelly and she started to smell it then smoke started coming out of the monitor. we all panicked and i wanted to pull the plug but the mains and plugs were buried under a pile of junk underneath after awhile i found the plug and phew just glad it didnt explode or caught on fire. now we have a swanky flat screen instead of a bulky fat monitor. yay.

there i was standing at the tram stop waiting for the tram to arrive and this australian fellow quite elderly he was came by and stared at me then read his book. after awhile he stared at me again. then he asked me while pointing to the tram schedule on the pole, "TRAM, WHAT TIME TRAM?" i suppose he expected asians cant speak english but i looked at the schedule and told him the time. just as i told him the time, we could see the tram coming. then he pointed to his watch then at the tram. "LOOK TRAM COME CORRECT TIME TRAM!" oh my gosh... the joys of being an english-speaking asian living in a foreign country.

i miss my ~limucats. miss ya! *muaks*

oh the most pleasant thing happen to me. i went to a high-end department store, myer. cos it advertised that it was having a 'history making sale... never to be repeated' so i went cos after 6 years of service; and somehow managing to rip it apart it my sleep. i needed a quilt cover. but as expected even with their massive discounts, items were still retailing at the 100s to the 300s. however i did fancy this one quilt cover with suede. discounted from 150 to 100. i thought it was a nice deal so i decide to get it and went over to pay it. and when the lady scanned it she said, "oh aint you lucky! the computer's saying its only 25 dollars". wootness. now i can truly believe their slogan and say with enthuasism myer is my store

worked sunday last (mmm double rates) and met the one of two of the staffers that i've not met yet. a funny lady named ann. after talking for abit (not that we didnt work... sundays are usually dead quiet) she offered to cut my hair for free and turns out she is a training to be a hairdresser and only works on sundays. yes i said and went to her beauty college on wednesday last and she did a good job i thought. but after every cut her teacher came by with a handful of students to study the cut. didnt know their are so many terms in hairdressing. all new found respect for hairdressers and why they charge exuberant prices!

lastly i want to thank the mysterious person for the last three months being a subscribed member of deviantart! thank you. i appreciate it muchly *hugs*

i was at fed square last night to watch the friendly against greece. a sea of green&gold and white&blue. great night. winning it was special. sad thing was i dont have any yellow clothing to wear.

flare lightings are a must for any football match

the game on the big screen

sadly i've learnt to never buy chicken snitzels from asian meatmongers down at the queen vic. our poor snitzel was made of 99% bread crumbs and 1% leather.

weird customer of the week goes to this gentleman who was showing me the insides of his mouth. "see me stitches" he said. he showed me both the left and right sides. come to think of it... its not too often to see the insides of another man's mouth unless they're yawning or about to swallow a golf ball.

i've not realised laksa king is famous for their laksa. the best crispy skin pork in all of melbourne is at a 1 cafe. in fact i just had my dinner there. i think im making a habit of eating out on fridays. aiming for mexican next time. ariba!

berry brought pictures of her ultrascan to work today and we all saw her baby. oh my gosh too cute. it is only 6cm big!!! how exciting, how intriguing and how amazing. life! i think this applies to everyone.... when we see a friend's or family member baby, we'd go "oh how cute" and so forth but dont really mean it/feel it. i think the only babies that are truly cute are the ones which are our own.

lately i feel that me and my fellow limucats are drifting away. i dont see you, you dont write to me, we dont log on no more. last year was particularly a good year to be a deviant. now it seems to me that dA is full of teeny smart mouths and old farts that rarely log onto the community because of their 49 hr a week job with crap pay. i miss 2005. oh limucats where are you.

i heard the most tragic story about if's gay friend whose partner was jewish, married and had kids. its almost like a Quentin Tarantino movie.

top 3 things on my mind
01. keying cars of nasty customers'
02. financial planning
03. parents who have not discipline their children that-are-now-teenagers-with-their-smart-mouths
04. speaking english... hong kong style!!
